Thank goodness it’s 2017 and we have technology to help us out when we’re in a pinch. We rounded up five of our favorite apps that no mom should ever have to be without. From a one-stop app for all things health care related to quickly finding the nearest nurse-friendly spaces when you’re out and about, for first time parents, you’ll thank your lucky stars for these glorious apps!

Cinemama is a fun tool created by March of Dimes to document your pregnancy and track your belly’s growth. By your full-term you will of created the ultimate time-lapse video of your growing belly. Plus, you can add a soundtrack to this fun video and share with friends and family! Free on iTunes.

FullTerm (1)The Full Term application is the most convenient way to keep track of your labor contractions. Created by a first time dad, it has an easy start/stop timer that does all the math for you. It also keeps the phone from going into lock mode! Way to go dad! Free on iTunes
pumpWhether you are nursing or bottle feeding, it’s always reassuring to know that you’ll be able to find nursing-friendly space when you leave the comforts of your home. MomsPumpHere is a must for city-dwelling mamas, and you can view the ratings of those spaces from the community of fellow moms. Free on iTunes!

SignThis is one app of many offered by Baby Sign and Learn that’ll help you and your baby learn to sign. This free app will teach both you and your baby some very basic words and phrases like “more” and “all done!” As your baby continues to develop, you can try downloading one of their other apps like Baby Sign & Sing. CAREContinuousCare will be your one-stop app for all things medical related. You can store scheduled appointments and medical records, and even ask real health care specialists medical questions  (instead of Google). Plus, if you’re doctor uses Virtual Practice, you can schedule video consultations and follow-ups without ever leaving the house! Free on iTunes.
