HATCH/Describe your style in 6 words or less.
Easy, bohemian, and a bit classic.
HATCH/How has your fashion sense changed since baby (or since you got pregnant)?
After two pregnancies and now with juggling two kids, my fashion sense has become mostly about comfort but without sacrificing style. My wardrobe needs to work with my hectic lifestyle. You will usually find me in comfortable fabrics and wearing flats.
“The Eyelet Jessie Dress by Hatch is the prettiest pink color and it is incredibly comfortable. It’s cute styled with a denim jacket and sandals for an easy look that is great for running around or to a brunch with girlfriends.”
HATCH/Mother/Child matching, yea or nay?
Totally yay! I’m all about matching with my kids and matching my kids together. I mean, it’s so cute, and a fleeting thing.
HATCH/What 3 traits are you hoping your child inherits from you?
That’s hard to say. I want them to feel like they are developing their own positive traits. However, I would love for them to be creative, hard-working, and kind. Always, kind.
HATCH/What 3 trends are you currently loving?
Gingham, ruffles, and high-waisted pants.
HATCH/ What pre-parent fashion trend do you hope makes a comeback in your closet someday (i.e. what do you miss, if anything)?
Sparkles. I am a mag-pie, but I hardly ever incorporate sparkles into my wardrobe these days.
HATCH/What bag are you currently carrying?
Clare Vivier’s Alice Tote.
“The JoJo Jumper by Hatch is so soft! I like to wear it with sneakers for more active days when I am chasing my kids around and then slip on heels and jewelry to snazz it up when going out for dinner.”
HATCH/If you could only keep 5 things in your bag for you and baby/child, what would they be?
With a baby and a toddler this is pretty tough, but I could get by with: my wallet, Aquaphor, wipes, diapers, and a snack.
HATCH/Where was your last vacation and where will your next one be? Kids, please or kid-free?
We just did a trip with our family to Santa Barbara at the Four Seasons and it was amazing. We had so much fun! We hope to be going back to Ojai this summer with the family—we went a year ago and it was really special. I also hope to stay a night in San Francisco with my husband for our anniversary in August.
HATCH/Top 3 ‘d0s’ for dressing during pregnancy.
Do wear soft fabrics that you feel comfortable in. Do wear pieces that make you feel like YOU. You don’t have to dress with a maternity focus. Do wear things that show-off that cute bump, cause you’re going to miss it someday!
