Designing your baby’s nursery is an exciting experience for any parent, but it can also be a daunting one. Creating a space for a new personality you haven’t met yet is challenging, not to mention that most nurseries are usually limited when it comes to space. So how do you make a little nursery both beautiful and practical? We turned to the online and in-home interior design company, Homepolish for some major nursery inspo. The best part? We partnered with Homepolish for our Midsummer-Makeover Giveaway. Enter for a chance to win a 10 hour design package valued at $1300!
Verena, a busy Manhattanite, hired Homepolish’s Megan Hopp as soon as she found out she was pregnant with her first baby boy to handle her Gramercy nursery conversion. Going for a minimalist Scandinavian design, they first layered in striped wallpaper as a base and added furnishings in white and reclaimed wood. For a touch of whimsy, baby animal portraits were added to the wall, a lucky find from a street fair around the corner. Simple, sweet and one happy mama and baby.
