EVERYONE APPROACHES NEW YEARS’ RESOLUTIONS DIFFERENTLY.
Some (amazing) friends I have tell me about goals they have for themselves that seem rigid or hardcore to me in January, but I look on (amazed) throughout the year as they slowly achieve them. Others vow loudly and proudly to drink less, or eat less, or be more patient. Those *sometimes* work out.
But then there are the resolutions we only whisper to ourselves: things we know we must try and work toward, but things we just might not want to share with others over a new years’ toast.
On this (quiet) list for me are the ways I hope to be a better partner, friend, daughter, sister, and…of course…mother. Below, please find my inner resolution monologue for 2016.
Enjoy, and happy new year!!
